Between 1/3 to 2/3rds of the Milky Way is under the control of the Ophidian Federation (aka the Evil Galactic Empire). Earth in the Sol Solar System is an important location in the MAG Multiverse. Many of my books will have part of the plot take place on Earth. The Earth is the evolution point giving rise to the Children of Babel, Humankind, and other Hominids. Members and groups of Fey have colonized the Earth for millions of years proceeding habitation of native Hominids.
Children of Babel society is built on 12 Houses
The Children of Babel Physically appear identical to humans. Physiology and internal organs have minuscule differences which which gives them the ability to use true magic to cast spells and enchantments. Their lifespans are several hundred years longer than humankind. There a major differences in female reproduction and a Babel woman will are only fertile around their 40th birthday. they will only ever have one pregnancy resulting in one infant or possibly twins. They are faster, smarter, and stronger then the same size human. about 12,000 years ago they were the dominant species on Earth. Babel enslaved humankind to build and maintain the Babel Empire.
The Children of Babel dominated the Earth 10,000 years ago. But, now they hide in plain site alongside humans.
At the Height of the Babel Empire around 8,000 B.C. the humans, who had greatly exceeded the population of Babel rebelled. after years of revolts, insurrections, coups and a rebellion Humankind rose up in a wave across the Empire killing the Children of Babel and tearing down their cities, the Children of Babel were dead, exiled or hiding alongside of humans in human settlements. A group of human leaders of the revolution formed a secret society, call the Knights of Purity. Their mission was to purge the Earth of Babel, Fey, and any other non-human living on Earth. Babel once the dominant lifeform on Planet Earth was now religated to exist in the shadow of Humanity.
