Magic of the Multiverse
Magic in the Multiverse is divided into four types
True Magic, Divine Magic, Psionic/Psychic Powers/Gifts and Prestidigitation (pseudo magic or false Magic)
True Magic
True magic is powered by Ether, the magical energy flowing through ley lines forming a massive web to draw power from to preform feats of true magic.
to use Ether the caster must have the physiology to process raw magical energy to cast spells and enchant items.
True magic can only be done by beings with specialized organs to process and control Ether, raw magical energy. these beings include Fey, Gnomes, Kor, Children of Babel, many 3rd tier beings such as immortals and demigods.
Humans are not capable of doing true magic
Divine Magic
Divine Magic comes from 2nd Tier beings also referred to as Gods. They do not need to tap into a Ley Line, because they can generate Ether themselves. A God can also bless/mark a follower soul linking them to the God. This gives a disciple the ability to cast spells through the God as long as the follower remains devote in service to the Deity blessing them with Divine power.
Any being is capable of being blessed by a God with Divine Magic.
Prestidigitation or Pseudo Magic
Prestidigitation involves trickery, slight of hand, distraction, illusion, props or technology to simulate a magical power.
Training is required to practice the art of Prestiditation but anyone can learn it.
Psionic Powers and Psychic Gifts
Psionics are powers are controlled by the mind and the power is processed in the persons Aura. Psychic gifts are powered by soul.
